Love is in the air, the water and definitely in Hollywood!Last week, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo confirmed their engagement and she's been seen flaunting her Asscher-cut diamond platinum ring from jewelers Bader & Garrin, which is worth an estimated $125,000. Just a week later, Nick's former wife, Jessica Simpson, announced her engagement to her beau of six months, Eric Johnson.
Jessica is now sporting a "three-stone Neil Lane sparkler with a stunner of a central ruby flanked by two pear-shaped diamonds - each stone weighing over 5 carats. Estimates put the ring at around $100,000."
And they aren't the only celebs that have recently announced their engagement. Leeza Gibbons is also ready to tie the knot with long-time boyfriend Steven Fenton. Although they got engaged officially in June, the beans weren't spilled...or publicized, until now!Unfortunately, we can't show you pictures of the Leeza's new ring because she says that, "we decided that I won't wear it until we have a private exchange of vows."
And unless you've been living under a rock today, you know that Prince William is now engaged to his long time girlfriend, Kate Middleton. In an especially tender turn, it was released today that he proposed to Kate with his mother's famous diamond-encrusted eighteen-carat oval sapphire engagement ring. According to New York magazine's Fashion section, "Princess Di chose the ring herself from Garrard, the royal family's official jeweler for the past three centuries, which was a controversial move at the time of her engagement since Prince Charles didn't custom-design the rocks for her."
