We've watched her since the beginning but we all know her better as "Hermione Granger". About 7 years ago, Emma Watson was just a mere young girl getting used to the new-found fame that the Harry Potter franchise of movies bestowed on her. Now, she's all grown up, on the red carpet, and bringing the bling with her!The 20-year old Watson was recently spotted at the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 Photocall. For the most part, she looked stylish and sexy. However, she was sporting a little too much bling. According to MTV's Amy Wilkerson, Emma chose a "one-shouldered midnight blue Vionnet velvet frock paired with Christian Louboutin pumps and Gothic-looking dangling earrings and pendant necklace."
Previously, the Red Carpet Jeweler blog team has advised you that "big and bold" is in this season but to always observe the golden rule: don't overdo it or "less is more". Too bad we (or her stylists) didn't get to tell Emma Watson about it.
All in all, she still looks amazing but this holiday season try to keep in mind that while "big and bold" may be hot, moderation is key. They're called "statement pieces" for a reason; they say something. We think it's far better to have one piece doing the talking with some sparkling support pieces as opposed to many pieces that are all shouting at once for attention.
