The calendar says that winter is still a few weeks away. However, we're from New Jersey, which means we have gorgeous summers and harsh winters. It's only the first week of December and already it feels like winter is here with a vengeance. When it comes to winter, at least in the Northern States, bulky accessories and outerwear are a necessity. However, your customers more than likely want to show of their bling-bling, no matter the weather conditions. This can be hard to manage what with ear muffs, scarves, gloves, parkas and knit caps covering them from head to toe to keep warm during this season. Well, those clever celebrities (or rather, those clever celebrity stylists) have found some ways to work with cold weather clothing and show some razzle-dazzle.
Two weeks ago, Jessica Simpson performed on top of a float at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. According to Sparkle like the Stars, she "didn't let the cold weather compromise her style. Peeking out from beneath her earmuffs were dangling diamond earrings. The simple stones were small, so as not to compete with the earmuffs, but they still added a noticeable sparkle to her ensemble."

Kylie Minogue sang at the parade, too. In a similar fashion to Jessica Simpson, Kylie didn't allow her winter wear prevent her from blinging it up. She simply "slipped a few cocktail rings over her leather gloves for a look that was ultra-glam and decidedly rock and roll".
Make sure you mention on your facebook page, twitter or blog that you have styles that can compliment, rather than get hidden by, winter gear. After all, it may be bone-chillingly cold already (at least over here on the East coast), but that doesn't mean your customers aren't looking for ways to still sparkle throughout the holidays!
