Red Carpet Jeweler: Yep. Another engagement.

by
Red Carpet Jeweler: Yep. Another engagement. RebeccaBudig-EngagedFirst, came All My Children. Then came Skating with the Stars. Today, however, the biggest news in Rebecca Budig's life is that she's engaged to her boyfriend Michael Benson.

Joining a whole slew of celebrities who got engaged on or around Christmas this year, Showbizspy reports that Benson "popped the question on Christmas Day with a ruby and an old European cut diamond in platinum and yellow gold circa 1935 from Platt Boutique Jewelry."

That sounds gorgeous! And it sounds like it'spart of a growing trend of colored diamond and gemstone engagement rings. In fact, MJSA JOURNAL's January 2011 cover story is about just that. Is this a trend that you're seeing in your store? If so, make sure you advertise on your website, Facebook and Twitter that you cater to the brides-to-be that want a little color in their ring!
