Odyssey Golf seems to think it might. According to
Today's Golfer, Odyssey just unveiled the "stunning one-off 2-Ball putter encrusted with rubies and diamonds to be sold in world-renowned department store Harrods. The putter comes complete with an 18-carat white gold head, 240 rubies and 378 diamonds - as well as a price tag of £100k"(equivalent to $160,510.00).

Now, you may ask why someone would encrust a putter with diamonds and rubies? Apparently, the idea came up during...of all things, a game of golf
involving renowned jeweller Theo Fennell and Odyssey & Callaway’s EMEA marketing director, Nick McInally.Nick indicated that there's a question as to whether or not the eventual owner of this one-of-a-kind club will actually want to use it. “This is one of the most striking golf clubs ever created," Nick said. "But it is still a putter that we hope will help the eventual owner hole more putts… if he or she is brave enough to use it."
Would you be brave enough to use an 18K gold with diamonds and rubies gold club?
