Looks like it wasn't "just" a kiss! Lady Antebellum's lead singer, Hillary Scott, had reportedly told Billboard magazine that the country band's latest single, "Just a Kiss" was based on her current relationship with Chris Tyrell. The song captures the spirit of new love and the uncertainty and hope that comes with it. However, Scott and Tyrell have definitely moved beyond the new stage of love and into a much deeper, lifelong commitment to each other.
This past Fourth of July weekend, Tyrell proposed to Scott as the sun was setting over a lake in East Tennessee, the couple tell PEOPLE Magazine.
"Chris proposed exactly the way I've always dreamed," Scott shares. "Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and – in our workout clothes – he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together!”
