Lesson 2 Vocab 35 - Log File

by
At the beginning of this Lesson I talked about Analytics and how you need to learn to read the reports from your website. I described how every visitor to your website leaves footprints of their actions. Those footprints are saved as plane text in what we call a "Log File" on your website. It's usually saved in a "logs" directory.

Ask your website hosting company for help finding your log file and reading the statistics generated every day from that file.

"...serious kudos to you. We love your straight talk, pertinent information and plain language. I don't know how many industries have something of jWAG's caliber available, but I learn from the emails every day. Really, really nice work, and very appreciated."
